Suprena Hickman, Suprena is passionate about caregivers and teaches them how to carve out time for themselves in order to better care for others. Her platform to continue this great work is her wellness organization for women called Escape 2 Sisterhood. Through this organization, she and her partner has been successful in providing wellness retreats and events for women. These events provide an outlet or escape for busy women who are focused on caring for others first and tend to place themselves on the back burners.
She is also the visionary and co-founder of a teen empowerment organization called Girls Rocking in the South- which is Escape 2 Sisterhood's teen mentoring group. She believes that by helping young teenage girls take care of and respect themselves now, then when they become older women, these practices will be easily incorporated into their daily lives.

Suprena Hickman | Conference Presenter
Suprena was born and raised in beautiful historic Charleston, SC and currently resides in Wilmington, NC with her husband and 9 year old great nephew. She is a Registered Nurse and has worked in many aspects of nursing with over 17 years of experience. She was a travel nurse for nearly a decade and enjoys assisting in the transformation process. She volunteers and plans local community events and is an advocate for women and young girls. She definitely understands what it's like to be "busy" taking care of everyone else besides herself. Through health coaching, she has learned to make herself a priority in order to better care for others.

Additionally, Suprena holds a B.S. in Nursing, an MBA, and is a Certified Integrative Health Coach. She has been recognized by local organizations like the YWCA and Wilma Magazine recently for the work she does. Her creative outlet from Nursing has led her to operating her own home-based bakery business called Sweet Escapes By Suprena.
