Founded by a Beauty Industry Veteran

Before launching Formidable Woman® Beauty, our founder Dr. Shekina Farr built a thriving beauty and style legacy. She served as a professional artist for MAC, curated wedding and editorial looks, and led personal wardrobe makeovers under her boutique style company, Speedy Outfitters.

She also founded the fashion line SoKINA, which was spotlighted at the Carolina Music Awards and earned r3ecognition as of the 25 Most Stylish by Carolina STYLE Magazine. Her beauty-forward journey, grounded in authenticity and self-expression, lives at the core of this movement.
