Shinica Thomas: A Woman You Should Know

Come meet Shinica Thomas at the inaugural ZOOM CON in Atlanta, GA - Ramada Plaza, March 24-25, 2017!

Shinica Thomas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Fayetteville State University and Master’s Degree in Government from Regent University in Virginia. She has lived all over the world as a “military brat” and military wife, but she loves calling North Carolina home.

Shinica is the Individual Giving Director for the Girl Scouts North Carolina Coastal Pines. In this role she raises awareness in the community about the Girl Scout movement and the breadth and depth of their programming while encouraging individuals to make financial contributions to support the organizations mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.

Shinica is known to be a Networking Specialist and Partnership Developer who specializes in helping people turn their goals into tangible realities and expand their impact.

Shinica serves by appointment on several boards in her NC community, including the YMCA of the Triangle, Wake Forest Parks and Recreation and the Democratic Women of Wake County. She also works on political campaigns helping women run for elected office or secure board appointments.

Serving in the community and mentoring young people are two of her passions and she spends lots of time traveling with, Raymond her husband of 22 years, and their two sons Rahsaan & Khalid.
