Letters to our Daughters: Life is filled with options

Dear Girls,

I am Daniela Gabrielle, the “Transition Entrepreneur” and I am on a mission to help one million people transition in entrepreneurship, education and ending mundane lives in my lifetime. After spending 16 years in corporate America and all of my life living up to everyone else’s expectations, I re-discovered my dream and decided I was worth investing in seeing it come to past. I choose to make a radical decision to transform my life, change my environment and position myself for limitless living.

I believe that in every person is a BIG dream just waiting to be pursued and now that I have found the courage to live without limitations, I have made it my business to help every “caged bird” fly free. I have a passion for change and a HUGE heart to help others live the lives they love. I share this passion through my company Motique Momentums, LLC where I oversee nine business, entertainment and media brands.

As I have been on this journey to pursue a purpose-driven and passion-filled life, I’ve learned that life is filled with options. We have to option to overcome or succumb to every obstacle throws our way. For me, my biggest obstacle has been breaking free from abuse. I have overcome physical abuse, emotional abuse, verbal abuse and spiritual abuse, but the greatest of them all has been rising above self-abuse. Self-abuse destroyed my self-confidence, perverted my worth, interrupted my success paths and made it difficult to live a life that was integral to what I believed God placed me on the earth to do. Everyone and everything came first and my lack of love for me, made it difficult to remain focused on my goals.

As I began to dive into my passions and purpose, God’s plan for my life became bigger that the distorted picture I saw of myself. The more I focused on His vision for my life the clearer I could see a stronger, wiser and more free me. I realized that if I could channel my energy that direction, I could press past my inner hurt and achieve anything. I learned to do things even if I was afraid and that I could thrive even though I was broken. As I put my focus on purpose and off of my pain, I begin to see life change. In a less than four years I was able to retire from a corporate career, move to my dream city to plant my company headquarters, complete a BS in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University after SIX previous attempts at college prior, publish two books and ten authors, release music singles and travel the country empowering others to break the limits off of their lives and I did this all as a single mother of one battling Thyroid disease.

I wasn’t dealt a “special” card that makes me different from anyone else in the world. At the end of the day, we all have one thing and that’s OPTIONS. God gives us all the opportunity to choose the road we travel. It may not feel like you have them at times, but you do. You have the option to believe you can, you have the option to persevere, you have the option to choose passion over people and most of all you have the option to say yes to your BIG dream. I’ll never snow you into thinking the process is easy. I have cried many tears, lost things along the way and accomplished most of my goals while shaking in my boots, but to have tried at all is succeed for me.

If I could leave you with one thought, it would be to identify your BIG dream and go after it with every fiber in your soul. I’m not talking about the thing that everyone else is doing, but that thing that you just can’t shake. That passion that keeps you up all night and makes you giddy inside. Pursue it! Let nothing separate you from it. What you don’t know you can learn along the way, but get up and start moving towards it now. You were born to experience your BIG dream.

Letters to Our Daughters is a B2F Girls! campaign that aspires to empower girls with the courage to overcome obstacles and follow their dreams as they learn from women who have overcome many challenges and have positioned themselves to live a fierce life. We hope that the stories will be healing and empowering for both the writer and the reader.

B2F Girls! is on a mission to equip girls nationally with healthy self-esteem so that they can be the best version of themselves. When this happens, everyone benefits. B2F Girls! offers a robust certification program and training intensive, complete with resources, implementation guides and support for women who have a calling to mentor girls. We also produce national female empowerment events.

OUR HISTORY

B2F Girls! initially started as an organization called Tween Style Power that offered free local workshops for girls ages 10-17 that addressed the areas of self-worth, body image and leadership. After our first successful year of implementation, we began to notice we were receiving an influx of women from various parts of the country asking how they could implement a similar program for the girls in their communities. It was then that we recognized a gap that required a systematic and accessible way of providing the training we were already offering. This made way for the launch of B2F Girls!
